Our Selector Sessions series brings some of UK music's most exciting artists straight to you. Watch them perform live in the studio with performances from Penelope Isles, Nabihah Iqbal, Hak Baker, The Orielles and many more. And in the Selector Archive, you'll find music from past guests like Elbow, Emmy the Great, Bat For Lashes and Soweto Kinch – recorded exclusively for Selector on their way to huge careers in music.

Bryde Live in Session

Bryde is that rarest of talents - a truly gifted songwriter and vocalist whose performances demand you sit up and take notice. In this Selector Session, the Welsh songstress graces us with two intimate versions of tracks from her debut album, Like An Island.

Mellah Live in Session

How many singer songwriters do you know that have made props and produced music for Black Mirror? Well, Mellah is a rare breed. The multi-instrumentalist produced a knockout session for us at the Selector studios, performing two tracks, 'What It Is' and the coruscating 'Cigarette Lighter' which lyrically dissects the opinion wars and political divides played out daily on social media. The Orielles Live in Session

The Orielles hail from West Yorkshire and are the champions of an evolving, psychedelic indie sound. In session for us in London, here they can be heard perfoming songs from their 2018 debut album Silver Dollar Moment and they share their insights and wisdom!

Hak Baker Live in Session

Hak Baker grew up on the Isle of Dogs in London and as one of nine children. In music, Baker's unique blend of grime and reggae has seen his collaborate with The Streets. In 2022, he performed at Glastonbury for the first time. Here, you can find him in conversation with Selector and performing Thirsty Thursday and Gallizionaire.

Nabihah Iqbal Live in Session

The musician, writer and broadcaster Nabihah Iqbal is no stranger to us at Selector HQ. The karate black belt and former legal professional, whose studied at SOAS and The University of Cambridge, first released her music under the alias Throwing Shade in 2013. She began hosting on NTS Radio with a show still running and also contributed vocals to Sophie's early releases before switching to her birth name for her debut album Weighing of the Heart and finally appearing on Selector Radio.
