Sitting at the heart of Aldeburgh Music is Aldeburgh Education.  A year-round, award-winning programme that delivers high quality music projects to young people, amateurs and the community. Working locally with a full breadth of the community including school pupils and teachers, young people with multiple complex needs, dementia sufferers, prisoners, the wider community and artists.  This has included a highly acclaimed production of Noye’s Fludde in Lowestoft for the Britten Centenary.

Bath Festivals offer children, young people and adults the best opportunities to engage with, and explore music as part of everyday life, enhancing people’s lives, understanding and participation within the arts and making a positive contribution to the cultural life of our communities. The City of London Festival takes place every summer, animating the unique buildings and outdoor spaces of the City with an extensive artistic programme ranging across many kinds of music, dance, street arts, visual arts, film, walks and talks and encompassing more than fifty ticketed performances and over one hundred free outdoor events.

DARTINGTON INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

Dartington International Summer School is a three-week combined music festival and summer school artistically directed by Nicholas Daniel, internationally acclaimed conductor and oboist. Dartington provides an opportunity for talented amateurs of all ages and abilities to mingle with professional musicians and composer at weekly master classes and workshops.  With over fifty major courses spanning the whole of the western musical repertoire as well as music from other cultures from Viol Consorts and Early Brass, to Gospel Choir and Improvisation, this event offers great diversity.

Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (hcmf//) is an annual international festival of contemporary and new music that takes place over 10 days consisting of approximately 50 events, including concerts, music-theatre, dance, multimedia, talks and film, with a related Learning and Participation programme devised and implemented to reflect the artistic programme and respond to regional need. The Festival was established in 1978.

sound is an innovative festival of new music.  From contemporary classical to electro-acoustic music, traditional, experimental and jazz, the festival brings together a wide range of different musical styles in a variety of concerts, workshops, installations and talks across the North East of Scotland, organised in collaboration with a network of local partner organisations. sound encourages people to discover new sounds and widen their musical horizons.

Over 25 years, Spitalfields Music has developed a strong reputation as a pioneering learning organisation and catalyst for producing exceptional music projects in East London. wW deliver 250 workshops and events every year, reaching nearly 6,500 local residents. Delivering projects to our neighbourhood schools increases cross-cultural communication and builds core skills such as literacy, numeracy and team-work. Music in the Community brings opportunities to those who may not otherwise have access to the arts.
