The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) is proud to deliver a wide range of music education work across the UK.  OAE Education brings the innovative ethos of the Orchestra to every project, providing access to top-level performances of Baroque and Classical repertoire delivered in an exciting and refreshing way.

Partnership working is key to the success of the OAE’s education programme, with tailor made projects for partners across the country.  As well as working in primary and secondary schools, universities and care homes, the Orchestra designs and delivers a series of public interactive TOTS concerts for 2-5 year olds alongside the main concert series.  The Orchestra’s flagship school concerts provide young people with the chance to play and sing with professional musicians.

The OAE’s education programme is ambitious in scale and scope with projects ranging from a local weekly string club where pupils learn violin, cello and bass with OAE players, to performances of Vivaldi’s Gloria with over 250 primary school pupils singing the chorus parts, learnt by heart.
